Tobias works as a set designer worldwide, predominantly splitting his time between the United Kingdom and Europe.

Starting out at 16 as a carpentry apprentice after dropping out of college, Tobias came into the set industry through the construction side, which planted an in depth understanding of technical design and construction. Set building led to working as first assistant to set designer Andrew Tomlinson for several years where Tobias learned everything about the magic of set design - working on the highest caliber campaigns and editorials with photographers such as Nick Knight and Karl Lagerfeld.

Tobias now runs his own creative studio which focuses primarily on set design for photography, video, advertising, events and theatre, but also keeps to his roots by taking on set construction projects collaborating with other designers or clients directly. His studios also have fully equipped backdrop painting departments.
